PHS Medical Science Academy students learn about neonatal care

The Pelahatchie High School Medical Science Academy (MSA) students had an opportunity to learn about neonatal care from specialist Melanie Ellis, Nurse Practioner at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
PHS Medical Science Academy students learn about neonatal care

Ellis taught the students about care of premature babies in need of the most advanced medical care to save their lives. MSA students saw and handled tiny blood pressure cuffs, oxygen tubes, oxygen masks, feeding tubes and other necessary equipment to help save a premies life.
