Eighth-grade JROTC performs for first time

Prior to the Pelahatchie Junior High football game Tuesday night, September 21, for their first time ever, the eighth-grade JROTC Color Guard marched on field. A representative from Pelahatchie Schools said, "they did an excellent job representing their program and school." The eighth- grade JROTC includes: Right Guard Cadet PVT Jayla Davis, National Flag Cadet Private Richard Suddatt, State Flag Cadet PVT Natalie Hand, Army Flag Cadet PVT, Taleah White, Brigade Flag Cadet Private Rubyrae Elliott, and Color Guard Commander and Left Guard Cadet PVT Charlee Lamb; and JROTC Support: Cadet Major Aubrey Adcox, Cadet 1st Sergeant Jerry Merritt and Cadet Private Leighanna Merritt.
