Pelahatchie Library events and news

A Senior Games Social will be held on Tuesday, April 11 and 25, 11 a.m. -12 p.m. The social will be held at the Pelahatchie Public Library meeting room. Age groups include 18-55 years and senior adults 56 and up.


National Library Week is April 10-15. The library invites all to guess what novel is in the bottle. They will also have trial blackout poetry.

Tony Hillerman's Coyote Waits


Attention all book lovers, the Adult Book Club will meet on April 19, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.. The club will meet at the Pelahatchie Public Library meeting room. Registration is open. The Pelahatchie Library will be discussing Tony Hillerman’s gripping novel, Coyote Waits.


They will delve into the mystery and suspense of this thrilling novel. Coyote Waits follows the Navajo tribal police as they investigate the murder of a medicine man, and the mysterious events that follow.


Whether having read the book before or reading it for the first time, all are welcome to join in the discussion. Share your thoughts, opinions, and interpretations of the story with fellow book club members.
