Pelahatchie Elementary PurpleUP! Day to support military children

Pelahatchie Elementary invites you to join us on PurpleUP! Day, April 19, by wearing or displaying purple to support and recognize the sacrifices and challenges military children face. This day is celebrated in the month of April, which is considered the Month of the Military Child. 

Our school is honored to serve and support military families and has developed a section on our website dedicated to our current and potential military families. The section provides information and links to help families with moving to our school, social and emotional support, our Chief Champion team that is ready to help new students become familiar with our school, and academic support for military families. We are always looking for ways to show our appreciation for the military and conduct different events throughout the school year.
