Students awarded scholarships during Salute to Education

East Rankin Academy (ERA) student Aiden Boyd, senior, was awarded the Miss Laquita Steen Scholarship and the Cash Medders Scholarship. ERA student Lana Jones, junior, was awarded the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership scholarship. These scholarships and other awards were presented at the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce’s Salute to Education celebration. The event is held to honor educators and students across Rankin County and to celebrate the graduation of the chamber’s 2022 - 2023 leadership classes.
