The East Rankin Robotics Team competed in the FIRST Tech Challenge Tupelo Qualifier Tournament on December 9. The team was selected for the Think Award for being the team the judges felt best reflected the journey of the engineering design process.
The team was also captain of the Winning Alliance in the final rounds of the robotics competition finishing 1st place in the tournament!
During the qualifying matches, the East Rankin team broke the state scoring record for the 2023-2024 season with a match score of 234 points!
The team qualifies for the Mississippi FIRST Tech Challenge State Competition to be held on March 8 and 9 on the campus of the University of Mississippi.
