Recently, in Ms. Nelson’s class, some PreK scientists dove into an investigation involving some “magic” water and cut-out hearts. With the help of their microscopes, the students used their five senses to explore and observe the changes to the hearts.
As the students examined the hearts, they made incredible discoveries about textures, shapes, smells, and tastes to learn what the magic water had in it - SALT. Their enthusiasm was contagious as they explored and investigated what made their hearts look like snow.
This hands-on lesson not only engaged their imaginations but also sparked a love for science and exploration at a young age. It’s amazing to see how learning through play can inspire future innovators.
