PES students collect donations for ERCO

The Pelahatchie Elementary School (PES) students and faculty went above and beyond for the good of their community by collecting 2,235 can food items for Ever Reaching Community Outreach. The collection campaign was led by Counselor Dana Lee.  Mrs. Hillard's fifth grade class collected the most per class with 266 cans.  Mrs. Thompson's second grade class collected 156 cans.  ERCO’s Director KathyJo Latham said that the food items will be a great blessing to help feed hungry families this holiday season.  Pictured (l to r) front row, are: Gage Goldman, Jose Lopez, Mahogani Hollis, Zanyia Hollis, Ethan Butler, Katlynn Murray, and Braylon Jordan; and back row: Mrs. Lee.
