Rankin Quality Logistics (RQL) collected food donations for Thanksgiving to help Ever Reaching Community Outreach (ERCO) feed local families. This nonprofit organization, located in Pelahatchie, helps out families in need.
The 2021 goal was to feed 75 families. A donation box was set up at Fairway Foods.
Items that were collected for each box included: two cans green beans; two cans corn; one box macaroni & cheese; one meat (turkey or ham); one cake or brownie mix; one box mashed potatoes; one box stuffing; and one can of yams. They also accepted cash donations.
